Our 4‑week Goalkeeping Academy is designed to develop confident, technically strong young goalkeepers in a fun, supportive environment. The programme is suitable for boys and girls aged U10–U18, with coaching tailored to each age and ability level. Key Details Duration: 4 weeks Session Length: 1 hour per week Focus Areas: Footwork & handling fundamentals Diving technique & shot‑stopping Crosses, high balls & communication 1v1s, breakaways & distribution Coaching Style: Positive, safe, age‑appropriate, and confidence‑building Group Structure: Mixed ages with progressions so every keeper is challenged at the right level What Your Child Will Learn Correct set position and movement patterns Safe and effective diving technique How to claim crosses with confidence Decision‑making in 1v1 situations Distribution skills to start attacks Communication and leadership from the back What to Bring Goalkeeper gloves Football boots suitable for the surface Water bottle Warm clothing / layers Positive attitude and willingness to learn Safety & Welfare Player safety is our top priority. All drills are age‑appropriate and supervised Diving is taught progressively with safe landing techniques We encourage confidence, bravery, and enjoyment Parents are welcome to watch from the sideline Attendance & Commitment To get the most from the academy: Arrive 10 minutes early Attend all four sessions where possible Inform us of any injuries or medical needs Communication We keep parents updated throughout the programme.
